Practicing Gratitude and Thanks
Eye Care Hawaii provides each of our staff members with The Five Minute Journal to encourage positive thinking and gratitude. This quick journal requires less than 15 minutes per day, three times per week, to document the good things and people in our lives that we are thankful for. It is proven that people who routinely express gratitude are healthier and happier in their lives.
This simple tool allows us to pay attention to the positive aspects of our lives that we may otherwise take for granted, while shifting our mindsets into a positive emotional tone. We encourage all of our patients to practice gratitude and thanks as well!
